Blueberry Day or Heidelbeeredaa in dialect has been an institution in the forest municipality of Dambach since 1988.
Under a blue sky and the sun flooding this rural landscape surrounded by trees with its fiery rays, this place has become a
friendly gathering.
Manifestation biennale, this summer festival coincides with the peak blueberry season, of which the surrounding woods are rich.

From aperitif to dessert and main course – including blueberry tarte flambée, the many visitors tasted blueberry beer or wine and discovered blueberry white sausage, a novelty specially made by a butcher for the occasion. The variation of deserts is endless and can be eaten without hunger : tartes, glaces, waffles, jam…
The event was enhanced by an artisans' market with around forty exhibitors from Alsace., Vosges and Luxembourg.
The performance of Batucada Loco, the Latin percussion group from the Théâtre de la Chimère and the entertainment from the Santa Rosa orchestra did not fail to enthuse the crowd
